Microneedling with PRP

Microneedling with PRP

Mirconeedling with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy offers a non-surgical alternative to smoothing wrinkles, tightening skin, and improving skin tone. You may have heard it referred to as the “vampire facial,”its a very safe and effective skin rejuvenation procedure, designed to hydrate, increase collagen and elastin, and bring antioxidants to the surface.

Plasma Rich Plasma (PRP) can be used while performing microneedling. Instead of using Hyaluronic Acid (HA) we substitute it with the use of one’s own plasma.
PRP’s emergence into aesthetics and skin rejuvenation began in 2004 in Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America in countries such as, UK, Japan, Spain, Portugal, and Argentina to name a few.

WHAT IS PRP SKIN REJUVENATION?

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) contains growth factors, stem cells and platelets known to aid in healing skin and producing new skin cells. Combining PRP enhances ones results.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

By injecting PRP into the skin, the treatment allows your body’s natural growth factors and stem cells to repair the micro-injuries created and heal the skin. This provides natural results without a major risk for side effects.

HOW ITS DONE

When you come in for your PRP injection, your expert medical provider will:

  1. Draw your blood through a special collection tube and place it in a centrifuge.
  2. The centrifuge spins the blood separating the different components within allowing for the PRP to be left for use.
  3. PRP can be either injected or mirconeedled depending on the provider discretion into areas of the face, neck and décolletage.

ANTICIPATED RESULTS

Most people can return to their normal, daily activities immediately after their treatment. The total healing time depends on the emphasis of the treatment. On average, the skin might be pink one to three days after the treatment.

Once the pinkness subsides, PRP skin rejuvenation will enhance the skin tone and texture. Visible changes in the skin develops 2 weeks after the treatment. Results continue to improve up to a year, as collagen production continues over time.
